FAQ
Please review some commonly asked questions about NIKA Therapy. If you have additional
questions, please contact us!
Do I have to live in North Carolina or Pennsylvania?
State laws permit a therapist to see clients only in the state where the therapist is licensed. Kosta is fully licensed in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Therefore, during therapy sessions you must present in one of these two states.
How long are therapy sessions?
Regular sessions at NIKA Therapy are intentionally a full 60-minutes, rather than the 45-minute sessions typically seen in insurance driven models. Our experience reveals that longer sessions over time, are known to be more beneficial to the client.
Do you accept insurance?
Although, we do not work directly with insurance providers, our services are usually reimbursable as an
out-of-network expense. You will have access to all of your receipts and Superbills through your individual client portal, which will allow you to easily print and submit directly to your insurance company. We encourage clients to know what their specific insurance benefits are for counseling therapy services.
What are NIKA Therapy fees and policies?
When you submit the Contact form at the bottom of this page, you will be promptly emailed NIKA Therapy's summary of fees and policies. This information will include instructions for creating a private client portal and enable you to directly schedule an appointment.

For security and privacy, you will be able to complete all new client forms online within your client portal.
